Hola everybody! This week was pretty good and flew by! I'm doing a lot better so thanks for all of your love, prayers, and support!
We had Zone Conference and it was pretty lit, before we ate crepes with the district (thanks for the recipes mom) I sang again and we had some good workshops. The mission is kind of tanking in numbers right now so we are on the grind
The work is on its way up, we've been finding more than usual and had lots of miracles this week. Here's a couple:
1) we got a reference from Facebook, and she is crazy prepared. She used to be catholic and she said that she is having a rough time in life rn and is looking for peace. She said her cousin told her to reach out to the missionaries, and that her cousin had been baptized a couple years ago and it completely changed him for the better. Funny story she said she hadn't seen him for a while because he was "traveling" in Brazil, but she showed us a picture and he had the mission tag and everything
. We taught her the restoration and gave her a book of Mormon, and she almost came to church but had work. She is now reading the Book and said she feels really good when she reads it and is "amazed". It's so cool that the Lord prepares people to accept the Gospel, we just have to find them and bring them back!

Her son recently reached out to us and we've been teaching him. He's got a lot of tough but good questions, so we've been teaching and helping him but he hadn't told his mom yet. Yesterday we got him to come to church, and the mom's face when he walked in was priceless! She was so happy and shocked all at the same time. She bore her testimony about how her testimony is "small but strong", and how it's like a dream to see her son in church with her. It was so cool to be there and witness such a beautiful moment, and it's the small things like that that make being a missionary awesome!
I've been studying a lot about the Atonement, and I love what Alma says in Alma 5:13: "And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved."
I love how the Gospel of Christ not only cleanses us but strengthens us and can change our nature and desires. I challenge you all to use the gift of daily repentance every day and let Christ change you for the better!
Love you all!
