ELDER MILNES WEEKLY EMAIL!!

But anyways being a missionary is pretty cool and I'm already loving every day so definitely recommend it. Being able to represent Christ and serve others in every moment is something so special and unique, you really just can't describe it. I'm excited to hopefully get to lead the area a bit this transfer and leave my training.
PS: I'm back to finish this email and we just got transfer news so I'm staying here in Retiro, San Juan and my comp is going to Mendoza to be a zone leader. I'm getting Elder Hughes (a super dope Elder from my zone) and it's his last transfer so I'll kill him (that's what you say when you finish out a missionary's last transfer). So I'm super excited, more details next week...

Scripture of the week:
Mosiah 9:27: "O then despise not, and wonder not, but hearken unto the words of the Lord, and ask the Father in the name of Jesus for what things soever ye shall stand in need. Doubt not, but be believing, and begin as in times of old, and come unto the Lord with all your heart, and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before him."
I love that this verse combines the principle of working out "your own salvation" and trusting in the Lord. His plan is dependent on our agency, and what we do, like President Nelson said, "really does matter". A saying the Milne family has is "work hard play hard", and I think this can mean that we should be diligent disciples of Christ doing all we can do, but at the same time accepting the grace and joy that comes from Him and the life he's given us.
Love you all! Onward Christian soldiers
