Baptism 12/9/24
Hey everyone! We're todo piola here in the Argentine land
Sorry I didn't send an email last week, I played fútbol literally the whole day and now my nose is peeling and my legs hurt for the first half of the week

Last week we had thanksgiving and it was the most normal day of my mission probably. Had some pretty good food though with the Zanni fam. Calling my family was a blast as well, lots of chaos and catching up
This week Gabriel got baptized!! Elder Hughes, my comp, has a phrase "baptism week" where every week of a baptism the work is harder and there's lots of opposition, and it's real alright. We had so many lessons canceled and walking in the hot sun this week but we pushed through and saw lots of miracles!
I got to baptize Gabriel and it was a super cool experience. The spirit was so strong and I felt so grateful being a part of his conversion and change in his life. He stopped drinking coffee this week and even rejected alcohol from his friends! The best was seeing his mom, who's a recent convert, tear up in joy seeing her son get baptized. She said she thought it would never happen but it did and her dreams came true. God is a God of miracles!

Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I love this scripture because it's so simple: If we put God first in our lives, the rest will work out. In the moments I realize I'm worrying or getting down, I realize I'm not trusting in the plan He has for me. When we are humble and accept that Christ is the only way, and then live His gospel he's given us, He WILL bless us, and we will find joy and peace in this life and the next!
Love you all tons, stay chill
