Conference Asado!! 10/7/24

Hola family and friends, I hope you all had a great week and conference weekend. Mine was weird but as always: great!

This week I went with Elder Palacin, who just finished his training, to his area for a day, and I realized I got a lot of work to do before I end my training and potentially lead the area But hey the grind ain't stopping any time soon so don't you worry.

Spanish is coming along well and I can understand the general bit of almost any conversation when I'm locked in (always). The mission feels normal and it feels weird that I'm hitting 3 months as a missionary tomorrow but time doesn't exist here so idk

Conference week was a banger, I watched most of it in our chapel with my headphones like an i-pad kid (my trainer made fun of me but that's ok #Iloveunderstandingthe prophets) But Sunday morning (1:00 here) I had asado with a member and it was fire let me tell ya. I ate some meat and I have no idea where it came from but frankly I don't care. Then we watched conference in Spanish and talked for a bit so that was good.

Honestly not a ton this week. I've mostly been on a spiritual grind because I realize it's so easy to let the natural man get the best of us and seek what we think we need. I've been trying to find answers for how I can become more humble and give God my will, and conference was literally just that. There were so many talks that talked about letting God prevail from what I got, and I think that's so important. Christ was perfectly obedient to God's will and I know if we follow His example and strive to follow the commandments, God will be there for us and will always answer our prayers.
Matthew 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls"

Love you all!🤩🫶 Have a great week!

-peace out, Elder Milne😄
