Elder Miel and the dub baptism 12/16/24
This is gonna be a long one forgive me...
Whats up all it's Elder Miel, hope you all had a great week full of Christmas spirit!
This week we got rear ended in an Uber by a semi-truck. It was the most chill thing ever and I was just like what just happened. He just made us walk the rest of the way
Two youth in our ward referenced us their friends and cousins and so we crashed their hangout and brought the spirit in a lesson! We called it "mujeres jovenes" (young women). Two of them came to church the next day as well
It was my comp Elder Hughes' last week so lots of goodbyes and packing and all the weird things of going home. It was really weird seeing the whole process of a dying missionary, Elder Hughes left this morning and now im in a trio. We get transfer news later today so stay tuned for next week... I'm excited for Christmas, then I get start the grind of my full year in the mission
it was a fun transfer with Elder Hughes the goat, I learned a ton

I also bought a guitar from another Elder and it turns out it's from my grandpa (trainer of my trainer). Pretty lit, I've been on the grind remembering all the songs I knew (my brain hurts really bad).
Last but literally the best ever:
AGUSTIN Y RENATA GOT BAPTIZED!!!

It was so awesome and their whole family was just so happy! The whole ward has been supporting and loving them, and almost all of them stayed to watch them enter into a covenant with their Savior! Me and another Elder with the same time had an intercambio early in my second transfer, and we had no success all night, but we decided to knock one more door. Then we found them, and ever since every lesson has been so spiritual and they were so prepared to be baptized! Ill never forget that day it was awesome and so spiritual!
Something that I so often forget and so often am reminded is how great of an impact we have on one another. You never know what someone is going through, and sometimes don't know when your example or friendship means something to them.
3 Nefi 12:16 "Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
Christ is the light of the world, but he's put a little bit of that light in everyone of us. So go and share it! Show people that there is purpose, peace, and hope in this life!
Happy Holidays de Elder Miel
