Elder Bistéc 2/10/25
What's up guys, were back with another one
This week we had transfers, said bye to my good friend Elder Contreras (viva Chile)
and said hello to my also good friend Elder Beckstead! It's hype because we already know each other from being in the same district! He has one transfer less than me so we are just grinding here in Cordon. The Branch President here called him Elder Bistéc, and me Elder Milanesa, and we grinding protein and working out because my comp is the biggest Elder in the mish.
(it's awesome) Stay tuned for the transformation...
This week we met an incomplete family (the mom is inactive and the 3 kids aren't baptized), and they all came to church, except for 1 of the kids who was with his dad, but the rest came! We gonna be working hard this week and following the spirit to get them on date and get them in the water by the end of this month! Stay tuned...
I've been studying in Mosiah, and I loved this verse:
24:13 - "And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage. 14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders..."
I love this thought because if we have made covenants and are keeping covenants with God, there is literally NO REASON to fear.
2 + 2 = 4
Obedience = blessings
The gospel is simple! Choose the Christ over the world and you find joy in this life and the next!
Do you guys think I should use this as a conversation starter with someone? I think they might be converted. Let me know what you think
