Mission Things 10/6/25

Holaaa brothers and sisters, how we doing?

Hope you all have had a couple of good weeks and have enjoyed general conference, because I sure did!

Lots of miracles these last few weeks. We had a joyful weekend and our friends Oriana, Uma, Brittany, Gabriel, and Natalia got baptized! It was amazing to see each of them enter into the waters of baptism, despite their unique challenges, lives, and stories.

Oriana is part of a partial family, and her parents are in the process of getting married but it will take a while...
But after more than 2 months of being taught, Oriana took the brave decision of getting baptized! She was so happy and after she came out of the water her mom started crying. The spirit was strong and there were fiestas en los cielos!πŸ₯³πŸ©΅

Uma and Brittany are the sisters of Kevin, our convert who got baptized a few weeks ago. He was to be get the priesthood and baptize them! It was amazing, and he was super nervous but did a great jobπŸ’ͺ

Natalia and Gabriel are part of family we found by a miracle, and they have a very hard life, but lots of desires to follow Jesus and his teachings! Natalia is the mom of Gabriel, and he was so excited he kept asking me how long was left until he got baptizedπŸ˜‚
Now were helping the rest of the fam get baptized so they can one day be an eternal family!

Something I've learned on the mission, in these past few weeks, and in general conference is that the answer is ALWAYS Jesus Christ and His gospel! It doesn't matter the situation, trial, or how lost or far you feel from His atoning power. He's been there, He's felt it, and He knows exactly how to help you! But we have to come unto Him to recieve His rest. And that's why missionaries are so important. Someone to find His sheep where they are and walk with them to the Savior. And that's the best and most joyful kind of work there is. So go be a missionary for someone.
